MERO-TSK Raised Floor System
The MERO company started its activities in 1928, when Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Max Mengeringhausen established the first building service engineering firm in Berlin, Germany. In 1948 he moved the company headquarters to Wurzburg.
From his idea to offer economic and innovative, customized solutions for the construction sector by using his industrially prefabricated elements he developed the “MEngeringhausen ROhrbauseise” (tube/node construction) in the late 1930’s.
In the meantime, MERO-TSK has been offering a wide range of construction elements, which are distributed not only as individual product lines but also as packages or part turn-key solutions. The philosophy of transferring natural laws into construction technology has continued to shape the aims and methods of the company implementing state-of-the-art technologies in design, manufacturing and construction.
Supported by modern technologies as regards to construction, production and management (according to ISO 9001) MERO-TSK has become one of the market-leaders in Germany and abroad.
During the tender and design stages, CAD animation facilitates planning. It allows the simulation of even the most extravagant shapes and highly sophisticated constructions.
Production halls totalling 37.000 sqm, equipped with laser welding machinery, welding robots, powder coating line etc, guarantee efficiency and high quality standard.

The access floor construction type 2 has been designed in cooperation with electrical engineers and power station specialists. The construction has proved its worth in high, medium and low tension switchgears, battery rooms, control centres, emergency plants and is used in case of complicated bridging constructions as well as platform for fork-lift traffic. Global Switch Data Center - Hong Kong

MERO products are ideal for the special requirements in data center construction. The calcium sulphate system type 6, for example, was selected for use in the following three UK data center projects: Canary Wharf in Central London, Slough in West London, and Crawley in South London.
